The petitioners and the respondent, Tripura State Electricity Corporation Limited, were heard regarding promotions effected on 15.10.2025. The respondent’s counter‑affidavit states that the promotions were based on a notification dated 11.09.2025 and the corporation’s own rules, not on State Government rules under the Proviso to Article 309 issued on 26.08.2025. Consequently, the court held that the promotions do not contravene the interim order dated 24.09.2025 in IA No.02/2025. The court therefore concluded that there is no violation and closed the contempt proceedings.
