The petitioner filed a writ petition seeking release of his retirement benefits, contending that token numbers for payment had already been generated. The petitioner relied on a prior decision of the Division Bench in W.P. No. 23138 of 2025, which had addressed the same issue. The Court, noting the earlier order, directed the respondents to release the full amount within six weeks, failing which interest at 10% per annum would accrue from the due date. All ancillary petitions, if any, were ordered to stand closed, and no order as to costs was made.
