The petitioner filed a writ petition challenging the Deputy Commissioner’s interference with his possession of a plot in Laxminarayana Colony, alleging denial of due process. The petitioner relied on a prior order dated 22.12.2025 in W.P. No.39501 of 2025, which was not contested by the respondents. The Court, adhering to that earlier order, directed the respondent municipal authority to consider the petitioner’s regularisation application filed on 03.01.2026 under the GHMC Act. The respondents were ordered to afford a hearing within four weeks and to maintain the status quo on the property pending consideration.
