This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction the respondents 1 to 3 to grant police protection to the temple festival of Arulmigu Unjapalayam Karuppannasamy Thirukoil Mohanoor Taluk, Namakkal District dated 05.12.2025 to 07.12.2025, as per the 4th respondent’s proceedings dated 11.11.2025 and the petitioner’s representation dated 18.11.2025.

2. The case of the petitioner is that he being the President of the Hereditary Trustee of Arulmigu Rajasamy Thirukoil and Arulmigu Unjapalayam Karupannasamy Thirukoil, has sent a representation dated 18.11.2025 to the respondents 1 to 3 to grant police protection for Thirukarthigai festival on the ground that some persons are unnecessarily causing disturbance for the conduct of the same. Hence, this petition.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that the Joint Commissioner, Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department, Erode has sent representation dated 11.11.2025 seeking police protection and based on the same, the respondents are ready to grant adequate and sufficient police protection.

4. Recording the aforesaid submission of the learned Government advocate (Crl. Side), this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
