[1] Heard Ld. Counsel of sides.

[2] By letter dated 26.02.2026, the Registrar of Tripura University asked the petitioner for his appearance in person before the Board of Inquiry on 07.03.2026 and in this interim application the petitioner has prayed for stay of that letter.

[3] Ld. Counsel Mr. Kausik Paul, submits that Ld. Sr. Counsel Mr. P. K. Dhar has resigned from this case and handed over the brief and Mr. Paul, Ld. Counsel, is now representing the Tripura University. Ld. Counsel Mr. Paul also submits that already after the letter dated 26.02.2026 was issued to the petitioner, same has been modified and now he has been allowed to appear through V.C mode before the Board of Inquiry, New Delhi.

[4] In view of above submission, Ld. Sr. Counsel Mr. P. Roy Barman assisted by Mr. Samarjit Bhattacharjee, Ld. Advocate submits that till disposal of the main writ petition, the petitioner may be allowed to represent him before the Board of Inquiry through V.C. mode to which Ld. Counsel of the respondent, Tripura University has raised no objection.

[5] Considered the submissions.

[6] The IA is disposed of with the term that till disposal of the writ petition bearing No. WP(C) 151 of 2026, the petitioner shall be allowed to appear before the Board of Inquiry through V.C. mode.

[7] Ld. Counsel Mr. K. Paul also submits that in this case already affidavit in opposition was submitted by him in the Registry, but, same has not been placed in the record.

Registry will look into the matter.

If any such affidavit in opposition is submitted, same may be taken into the record.

Interim Application is disposed of accordingly.
