Petition under Section 482 of Cr.P.C and 528 of BNSS praying that in the circumstances stated in the Memorandum of Grounds of Criminal Petition,the High Court may be pleased May be pleased to implead the proposed respondent as respondent Nos.2 in CRLP NO.1988 OF 2026 pending disposal of present criminal petition and pass
1. The Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for brevity, ‘the BNSS’), by the petitioners, who are Accused Nos.2 and 3, seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Crime No.8 of 2026 of O.D.Cheruvu Police Station, Sri Satya Sai District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 108 r/w 3(5) of BNS.
2. Case of the prosecution, in brief is that on 21.02.2026 at 12.30 p.m., due to dispute over sharing of property in between the husband of deceased M. Rajasekhar Reddy and his elder brother with regard to parents of deceased gave share of property to the husband of deceased, when all the accused persons were present, the deceased committed suicide by consuming Mionocrotophas poison.
3. Heard A. Rama Krishna, learned counsel for the petitioners and Ms. K. Priyanka Lakshmi, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor representing the respondent/State. Perused the record.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that marriage of the deceased took place on 17.07.2025 and the alleged incident of committing suicide occurred on 21.02.2026, that too, in the presence of husband, in-laws, her mother, brother and sister, sister-in-law, where a panchayat was held regarding property allocation of parent in laws wherein the deceased is wife of younger son and the parent-in-laws wanted to give lesser share to her husband and so, she rushed to the upstairs and consumed insecticide which lead to her death.
5. Learned counsel for the respondent No.2 would submit that the deceased committed suicide by consuming insecticide at her husband’s house and her mother, sister, brother and sister-in-law were also present. Hence, prays that Court may pass apppriate orders.
6. Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor though opposed the petition would submit that investigation is at nascent stage but the fact remains that the deceased committed suicide by consuming insecticide due to dispute with in-laws regarding allocation of property.
7. In the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to consider request of petitioners for grant of anticipatory bail, however, on the following conditions:
(i) The petitioners/Accused No.2 and 3 shall surrender before the learned concerned Jurisdictional Magistrate Court and shall execute a personal bond for a sum of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand only), with two sureties for the like sum each to the satisfaction of the said Court.
(ii) The petitioners shall make themselves available for investigation as and when required and that they shall not cause any threat, inducement or promise to the prosecution witnesses.
(iii) The petitioners shall appear before the Station House Officer concerned, on every second Sunday and fourth Sunday between 10.00 a.m. and 01.00 p.m. till further orders of this Court.
(iv) The petitioners shall deposit their passports, if any, before the concerned Magistrate and shall not leave the country without permission from the Court. If no passports are available, they shall submit affidavit to that extent.
8. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is allowed.
