Judgment :-

1. Heard learned counsel representing the petitioner and learned counsel representing the respondents.

2. It is the grievance of the petitioner that though the petitioner has superannuated from service on 31.12.2023, yet his post retiral benefits including pension, gratuity etc., have not been disbursed.

3. Learned counsel representing the respondent – State, on instruction submits that the Form which the petitioner had to fill up to get the aforesaid benefits, was incomplete, for which an information was also given to the petitioner.

4. In reply, learned counsel representing the petitioner submits that the petitioner had already deposited the hardcopy and also applied online, thus his application is in order but in spite of that the respondents are not making the necessary payment.

5. Considering the aforesaid submission, I direct the petitioner to approach respondent No.3 – the Engineer-in-Chief, Road Construction Department, Government of Jharkhand, within two weeks from today, along with copy of this order.

6. The Engineer-in-Chief, Road Construction Department, Government of Jharkhand, will act as a Nodal Officer in this case and will ensure that the entire retiral benefits including pension etc., be disbursed to the petitioner, within four weeks from today.

7. If the Form or any document is necessary, it will be the responsibility of the Engineer-in-Chief, to ensure that all the paraphernalia be duly completed.

8. With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition stands disposed of.
