1. With the consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the stage of admission.
2. Heard Ms. Radha, learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms. S. Sravanthi, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Stamps and Registration, appearing for the respondents.

Aggrieved by the action of respondent No.2 in refusing to receive, register and release the document presented by the petitioner in respect of subject property i.e. agricultural land admeasuring Ac.2.00 guntas in Sy.No.56/A7 situated at Ieeja Village and Mandal, Jogulambha Gadwal District, the petitioner filed the present Writ Petition.

Learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that as per Section 5(1) of the Telangana Bhu Bharati (Record of Rights in Land) Act, 2025 (hereinafter “the Act”), a person seeking to transfer or obtain an interest in agricultural land by way of a registered document is required to apply through the Bhu Bharati portal to the Registrar for allotment of an available date and time to present the document for registration.
5. At this juncture, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to enable the petitioner to submit an online application through the Bhu Bharati portal for registration of the subject property, in compliance with the procedure prescribed under the Act.
6. Learned Government Pleader submits that upon such application being submitted, the official respondents shall process the same strictly in accordance with the provisions of the Act and the Telangana Bhu Bharati (Record of Rights in Land) Rules, 2025 (for short, “the Rules”).

Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel for the respective parties and in view of the statutory procedure prescribed under Section 5(1) of the Act, this Writ Petition is disposed of permitting the petitioner to submit an online application through the Bhu Bharati portal for registration of the subject land. Upon receipt of such an application, the Registering Authority shall consider and process the same strictly in accordance with the provisions of the Act and the Rules framed thereunder. It will be open to the Registering Authority to refuse to process the application, if there is any objection, provided that reasons for such refusal shall be recorded in writing and communicated to the petitioner. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case as to the petitioner’s entitlement to get the document registered.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
