(Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, praying to, a) issue a writ in the Nature of mandamus against the respondents, directing the respondents to rectify the mutation entries in the names of petitioners, with regard to the land measuring 06 Acres 04 Guntas and Measuring 08 Acres 24 Guntas of Land Sy.No.28/*/1, situated at Salebeeranhalli, Tq- Chincholi respectively in the names of petitioners. b) issue a writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ of direction, directing the respondents to comply the provisions of law for correction of mutation entries. c) pass any such orders or direction under the circumstances and court deems fit.)
Oral Order
1. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Additional Government Advocate for respondent Nos.1 to 4.
2. Petitioners are before this Court in this writ petition filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India seeking the following reliefs :
A) Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus against the respondents, directing the respondents to rectify the mutation entries in the names of petitioners, with regard to the land measuring 06 acres 04 guntas and measuring 08 acres 24 guntas of land Sy.No.28/*/1, situated at Salebeeranhalli, Tq. Chincholi respectively in the names of petitioners.
B) Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ of direction, directing the respondents to comply the provisions of law for correction of mutation entries.
C) Pass any such orders or direction under the circumstances and court deems fit.
3. It is the case of the petitioners that the land bearing Sy.No.28 situated at Salebeeranhalli village, Chincholi Taluk belonged to the petitioners and in the revenue records of the said land, the name of the Karnataka State Government as well as the name of Primary Health Center is reflected.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the land in question has not been acquired by the State and it is under these circumstances, representation at Annexure-G was submitted before the Tahasildar on 10.01.2022 and subsequently a legal notice dated 03.07.2023 vide Annexure-H was also issued calling upon the concerned authority to delete the name of the State Government and Primary Health Center from the revenue records of the land in question. Since said representation was not considered by the competent authority, the petitioners are before this Court.

Learned Additional Government Advocate who is directed to take notice for respondent nos.1 to 4 in this case submits that the representation at Annexure-G shall be considered by the respondent No.1 expeditiously and appropriate orders will be passed on the said application, in accordance with law.
6. Said submission is placed on record.
7. Writ petition is therefore allowed directing respondent No.1 to consider the representation dated 10.01.2022 at Annexure-G and pass appropriate orders on the same as expeditiously as possible, but not later than the period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
8. The petitioners are at liberty to file a fresh representation along with the copy of this order, if need arises.
