1. In this writ petition, the petitioner is challenging the action of the respondents in seizing the paddy available in his rice mill and also in not permitting the petitioner to mill and deliver the rice by considering his explanation/representation dt.27.12.2025, as arbitrary and illegal.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Civil Supplies appearing for respondents No.1 to 3 & 5 and Sri K.Devender, learned Standing counsel appearing Civil Supplies Corporation appearing for respondent No.4.
3. The petitioner claims to have submitted a representation dt.27.12.2025 giving explanation for the stock available in his rice mill and also seeking permission to mill the paddy under the supervision of an Officer of the Department and supply the same within the prescribed period.
4. Having regard to the rival contentions, this Court deems it fit and proper to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dt.27.12.2025 and to pass appropriate orders thereon expeditiously.
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed.
