1. Parties are represented through their respective learned counsels.
2. Heard the parties.
3. The principle concern of the petitioner is that he preferred a representation on 30.11.2025 addressed to the Superintendent of Police, Murshidabad for his present grievance. The concern shown by the learned senior counsel is relating to maintaining law and order so that no hooliganism is perpetrated and the lives and properties of the citizen are not jeopardized.
4. Learned Advocate General submits that the concern shown by the petitioner will be certainly taken care of. The State and its agencies will leave no stone unturned to ensure that the law and order is maintained strictly.
5. Learned senior counsel for Union of India informed that 19 companies of Central Armed forces have already been deployed in Murshidabad pursuant to previous order of the High Court.
6. Since Learned Advocate General has given an assurance to the effect that the State will strictly follow and implement the law and order, we direct that the State must act as per its stand and the law and order situation shall be maintained in Murshidabad strictly and the lives and properties of the citizens will be protected.
7. At this stage, learned counsel for the private respondent undertakes that even the private respondent will maintain law and order and will not cause anything which may cause communal disharmony or law and order problem.
8. With the aforesaid observation, this PIL is disposed of.
9. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be delivered to the learned advocates for the parties, upon compliance of all formalities.
