Common Order:
1. These writ petitions are taken up together for disposal, as the issues involved are interconnected.
2. W.P.(MD).No.21861 of 2026 has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to issue individual plot regularisation in respect of New Survey Nos.116/1C2B and 116/126B situated at Chenbagaramanputhur Village, Thovalai Taluk, Kanyakumari District, by considering the petitioner's online applications in Application Nos.DTCP/H/DIL8E6VN/2026/78801 dated 18.07.2026 and DTCP/H/73VLKWS8/2026/78792 dated 18.07.2026, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
3. W.P.(MD).No.21862 of 2026 has been filed challenging the proceedings of the second respondent in Na.Ka.No.A8/1872/2026 dated 01.07.2026.
4. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mr. M. Mahaboob Athiff, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents in both the writ petitions.
5. By consent of the learned counsel appearing on either side, both the writ petitions are taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the second respondent issued the impugned notice dated 01.07.2026 alleging that the petitioners are running a broiler stall without obtaining planning permission. Challenging the said notice, the petitioners have filed W.P.(MD).No.21862 of 2026.

The learned counsel further submitted that immediately upon receipt of the impugned notice, the petitioners submitted online applications seeking building planning permission/plot regularisation before the competent authority on 18.07.2026. However, the said applications have not yet been considered by the respondents. Therefore, the petitioners have filed W.P.(MD).No.21861 of 2026 seeking a direction to the respondents to consider and dispose of the said applications.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners would be satisfied if a direction is issued to the respondents to consider and dispose of the petitioners' online applications for building planning permission/plot regularisation within a time frame to be fixed by this Court and, till such consideration, the respondents may be directed to defer further action pursuant to the impugned proceedings dated 01.07.2026.
9. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the respondents have no objection for issuance of such a direction.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioners, the second respondent is directed to consider and pass appropriate orders on the petitioners' online applications in Application Nos.DTCP/H/DIL8E6VN/2026/78801 dated 18.07.2026 and DTCP/H/73VLKWS8/2026/78792 dated 18.07.2026, on their own merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners and any other necessary parties, if required, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till such time, no coercive action shall be taken by the respondents.
11. With the above directions, both the writ petitions are disposed of. No costs.
