1. This Criminal Petition is filed challenging the registration of F.I.R. in Cr.No.100 of 2022 for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A, 313 r/w

34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, and Sections 3 & 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961, against the petitioners who are arrayed as Accused Nos.7 & 8 therein.

2. Subsequently, after completion of the investigation, the Station House Officer concerned filed charge sheet against the accused, including the petitioners herein, and the same was registered as P.R.C.No.14 of 2024 and is pending on the file of I Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate-Cum- I Additional Civil Judge (Junior Division), Kakinada.

3. During pendency of that case, the petitioners herein obtained stay of all further proceedings by filing Crl.P.No.6167 of 2025 and as such, the case against them is separated and the main case is committed to the Principal Assistant Sessions Judge, East Godavari District. Since the petitioners filed Crl.P.No.6761 of 2025 challenging the registration of P.R.C.No.14 of 2024, this Criminal Petition became infructuous.

4. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Public prosecutor.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner also requested to dismiss the Criminal Petition as they have challenged the main case in P.R.C.No.14 of 2024.

6. Recorded the said submissions.

7. In the result, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel, Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
