(Prayer: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 528 of BNSS,  2023, to allow the compromise between the parties while pending criminal  appeal in Crl.A.No.188 of 2025 on the file of the learned VI Additional  District and Session Court, Madurai, against the order of conviction dated  03.11.2025 in C.C.No.323 of 2016 on the file of the Additional Mahila JM  Court, Madurai and acquit the petitioner based on the compromise memo of  the petitioner and the second respondent dated 14.07.2026.)

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner had relied upon the judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court reported in CDJ 2021 SC 724 in (Ramgopal and another Vs. the State of Madhya Pradesh and others), this Criminal Original Petition is maintainable. Therefore, objection raised by the registry with regard to maintainability is over ruled.

2. Post the matter on 14.08.2026 for recording compromise.
