1. The present petition has been filed alleging wilful disobedience of the order dated 21st July, 2026, passed by this Court in W.P.(C) 9374/2026, wherein, the following directions were passed:
2. Learned counsel appearing for the respondents has handed over to this Court a copy of a document to show that after verification, the status of the petitioner herein, has been updated on the website of National Council of Teacher Education ("NCTE"), in the list of recognised institution.
3. The said document is reproduced as under:

Per contra, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the status as updated on the website of NCTE, reflects that the petitioner- institution is recognised for a total annual intake of 100 seats. However, he submits that the petitioner institute is recognised for a total annual intake of 200 seats.
5. Perusal of the document reproduced as aforesaid, clearly shows that at serial no. 3, the petitioner herein was granted revised recognition for an intake of 200 seats vide order dated 05th June, 2015, passed by the NCTE, Northern Regional Committee. Subsequently, 100 seats were withdrawn vide order dated 31st May, 2025, passed by the said committee.
6. However, pursuant to the order dated 15th December, 2025, passed by this Court in W.P.(C) 9343/2025, the said 100 seats were restored by NCTE, Northern Regional Committee.
7. Thus, it is evident that 100 seats which had earlier been withdrawn out of the 200 seats, were accordingly restored in terms of the order dated 15th December, 2025 passed by this Court.
8. Accordingly, it is apparent that the petitioner has been recognised for total annual intake of 200 seats.
9. This Court also takes note of the letter dated 11 th August, 2026, issued by the NCTE, which is reproduced as under:
10. Perusal of the aforesaid letter sent to the affiliating university clearly shows that as per the NCTE itself, the petitioner-institute is recognised for the Bachelor of Education ("B.Ed.") program for the duration of two years, with a total annual intake of 200 seats.
11. Accordingly, the respondents are directed to update the status of the petitioner-institute on their website, i.e., NCTE, in terms of the aforesaid letter dated 11th August, 2026, and reflect the status of petitioner institution as recognised for a total annual intake of 200 seats.
12. Let the needful be done, within a period of two days, from today.
13. With the aforesaid directions, the present petition along with the pending application, is disposed of.
