(Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioners representations dated 12.03.2026 and 04.05.2026 and consequently direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to conduct survey the demarcation of the petitioners properties by laying boundary stones comprised in Survey No.222/2A measuring an extent of 0.85.05 Are in Patta No.3258 and Survey No.222/1 measuring an extent of 0.55.00 Are in Patta no.1479 by metes and bounds situated at A.K.Mottur Village, Jamnapudur Post, Tirupattur District, by providing adequate and effective police protection including both male and female police personnel so as to enable the Survey to be conducted peacefully free from obstruction or interference by Mrs.Mangaiammal her family members or any other third parties.)

1. This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations dated 12.03.2026 & 04.05.2026.

2. Mr.P.Elayaraj Kumar, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 & 2 and Mr.Durai Gunasekaran, learned Government counsel, takes notice on behalf of the 3rd respondent.

3. By consent of the parties, the main petition is taken up for disposal in the stage of admission itself.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner filed the representations dated 12.03.2026 & 04.05.2026 before the respondents, requesting them to survey and mark the boundaries of the subject land. However, the said representation was not at all considered by the respondents till date. Hence, this petition.

5. In reply, the learned counsel for the respondent would submit that the petitioner’s representations will be disposed of within a period of 6 weeks and hence, he requests this Court to pass appropriate orders.

6. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the respondent and also perused the entire materials available on record.

In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the 2 nd respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 12.03.2026 & 04.05.2026 and after issuing notice to all the concerned parties, including the adjacent land owners, dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

8. It is made clear that this order is passed only for the purpose of issuing a direction to the official respondent for conducting survey and laying boundary stones at the subject land. If there is any dispute with regard to the title/possession over the said property, the same has to be decided only by way of filing a suit before an appropriate Civil Court.

9. If any police protection is required at the time of conducting survey, the revenue officials are granted liberty to avail the same by approaching the 3 rd respondent. In such case, the 3 rd respondent shall instruct the jurisdictional police officials to provide all necessary protection to the revenue officials till the completion of survey at the subject land.

10. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No cost.
