1. The present contempt case has been filed for initiating contempt proceeding against the opposite party No. 2 for his wilful and deliberate disobedience of the order dated 01.10.2024 passed in W.P. (C) No. 5319 of 2024.
2. Mr. Shrey Mishra, learned A.C. to A.G., while referring to the order as contained in Memo No. 552 dated 05.05.2026 passed by the opposite party No. 2 (Annexure-B to the show cause affidavit dated 06.05.2026 filed on behalf of the opposite party No. 2), submits that since the said order has already been passed, the aforesaid order of this Court has been complied.
3. As against this, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner’s request for handing over the charge and possession of the properties as well as the other assets has illegally been rejected by the opposite party No. 2.
4. Be that as it may.
5. Since in compliance of the aforesaid order of this Court, the opposite party No. 2 has already passed an order as contained in memo No. 552 dated 05.05.2026, there is no reason to further proceed in the present matter. The contempt proceeding as against the opposite party No. 2 is hereby dropped.
6. The present contempt case stands disposed of.
7. The petitioner is, however, at liberty to take appropriate recourse as permissible under law against the order as contained in memo No. 552 dated 05.05.2026.
