Abstract
We want to improve the relation between research, policy, and practice in education, need an approach in which technical questions about education can be addressed in close connection with normative educational and political questions about what is educationally desirable. Government not only allows the research field to raise this set of questions. Education for sustainable development is a broad task that calls for the full involvement of multiple educational organizations and groups in bureaucracies and civil societies. These include Non- Governmental Organizations also knows as (NGOs). The language of education used by nation-states as well as international, intergovernmental organizations, non-governmental organization, and agents of civil society contributes heavily to the self-identification of individuals. The language of each, one can reach a greater understanding of the multiple conflicting, and overlapping educational ideologies employed across the globe. The issue of education on an international scale is also embedded in a complex framework of international relations which alter the effectiveness of those who employ the ideologies in a practical manner. Education NGOs differ in practice and ideology based on the previously mentioned factors.

Education is the biggest weapon in the world. Every child has the right to have their basic education. But the children with disability (CWD) are unable to study due to various reasons. In community-based rehabilitation (CBR) project, education is very important. According to UNCARD, every child has the right to have education and the Indian government also has introduced sarvashikshyaAbiyan education scheme to educate all the children. But the main difficulty lies in the education for the children with disability. Changing the mindset of the parents and teachers of these children is the main objective of MSSS.
-
40 CWDs homes were visited
-
16CWDs were enrolled in school
-
school awareness programs were conducted CBR works and field work students
-
24 school teachers were motivated.
-
100 percent (10/10) of the CWDs and other children who are studying in 10th and 12th have motivated towards the higher education and different technical skill.
-
39 CWDs and PWDs children are receiving education assistance AABY schemes.
The children from impoverished families living in village and slums have very limited resources and opportunities for accessing quality education, unlike their more affluent peers. The syllabi and standards set are sometime beyond the reach of experience and exposure of these students. Archdiocese and its development arm the MSSS respond to these stifling situations by engaging themselves in promoting compulsory education for all children, especially girl children.
In order to support the disadvantaged children living in the remote in Thiruvallur district and slum and squatter settlements in Chennai. Madras Social Service Society (MSSS) conducted evening study centers, talent development, career guidance, children clubs and other activities which would not only develop the academic standards of the disadvantaged children but also their qualities and skill for a bright future.
Conclusion
In a country like India, it is very difficult for the government to live up to its promise of a truly welfare state. The researcher would like that NGOs definitely play an active in the education development of the society especially with reference to rehabilitation of specially need children. Such efforts by NGOs should be praised, given credits and perceived as a role model by others. NGOs have a great opportunity to develop all the sector of education and they play an important role to maintain the standards of education. The quality of education program run by NGOs is also good. Another point where they edge over their government counterparts is there access: As these can reach at the place where government faces difficulty. The NGOs help to instruct local people in educational field and also aid in developing learning materials for different trades.
