LAND IMPROVEMENT LOANS (TAMIL NADU AMENDMENT) ACT, 1964

Received the assent of the Governor on the 28th May 1964 and first published in the Fort St. George Gazette dated the 10th June 1964.
An Act further to amend the Land Improvement Loans Act, 1883, in its application to the [State of Tamil Nadu].
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the [State of Tamil Nadu] in the Fifteenth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-
1. Short title and extent. - (1) This Act may be called the Land Improvement Loans ([Tamil Nadu] Amendment) Act, 1964.
(2) It extends to the whole of the [State of Tamil Nadu].
2. Amendment of section 7, Central Act XIX of 1883. - In the proviso to sub-section (1) of section 7 of the Land Improvement Loans Act, 1883 (Central Act XIX of 1883), after the words "Provided that", the words, figures and brackets "subject to the provisions of section 28 of the [Tamil Nadu] [Co-operative Land Mortgage Banks Act, 1934, (Tamil Nadu Act X of 1934)] and sub-section (5) of section 32 of the [Tamil Nadu] [Co-operative Societies Act, 1961 ([Tamil Nadu] Act 53 of 1961)] shall be inserted.
