THE KARNATAKA LABOUR WELFARE FUND (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2017

An Act further to amend the Karnataka Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1965.
Whereas, it is expedient further to amend the Karnataka Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1965 (Karnataka Act 15 of 1965) for the purposes herein after appearing;
Be it enacted by the Karnataka State Legislature in the sixty-eighth year of the Republic of India, as follows:-
1. Short title and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Karnataka Labour Welfare Fund (Amendment) Act, 2017.
(2) It shall come into force at once.
2. Amendment of section 7A.- In the Karnataka Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1965, in section 7A, in sub-section (2), for the words "six rupees, twelve rupees and six rupees", the words "twenty rupees, forty rupees and twenty rupees" shall be substituted.
