The following Act of the Andhra Pradesh Legislature, received the assent of the Governor on the 25th September, 2009 and the said assent is hereby first published on the 30th September, 2009 in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette for general information:-

AN ACT FURTHER TO AMEND THE ANDHRA PRADESH LAND REFORMS (CEILING ON AGRICULTURAL HOLDINGS) ACT, 1973.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Andhra Pradesh in the Sixtieth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-
Short title and commencement
1. (1) This Act may be called the Andhra Pradesh Land Reforms (Ceiling on Agricultural Holdings) (Amendment) Act, 2009.
(2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on and from the 1st day of January, 2004.
Amendment of section 14. Act 1 of 1973
2. In the Andhra Pradesh Land Reforms (Ceiling on Agricultural Holdings) Act, 1973, in section 14, in subsection (6), for clause (iii), the following shall be substituted, namely,-
“or, (iii) utilise/sell such lands for infrastructure/industrial development or any such public purpose”.
Repeal of Ordinance 2 of 2009.
3. The Andhra Pradesh Land Reforms (Ceiling on Agricultural Holdings) (Amendment) Ordinance, 2009 is hereby repealed. |
