RAJASTHAN PREVENTIVE DETENTION (REPEALING) ACT, 1996 (ACT NO. 6 OF 1996) [Received the assent of the Governor on the 7th day of August, 1996] An Act to repeal the Rajasthan Preventive Detention Act, 1970. Be it enacted by the Rajasthan State Legislature in the Forty-seventh Year of the Republic of India, as follows:- 1. Short title and commencement. - (1) This Act may be called the Rajasthan Preventive Detention (Repealing) Act, 1996. (2) It shall come into force at once. 2. Repeal of Rajasthan Act No. 23 of 1970. - The Rajasthan Preventive Detention Act, 1970 (Act No. 23 of 1970) is hereby repealed. |
