THE CONSTITUTION (FORTY-FIFTH AMENDMENT) ACT, 1980 [14th April, 1980.] An Act further to amend the Constitution of India. Be it enacted by Parliament in the Thirtieth Year of the Republic of India as follows:- 1. Short title and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Constitution (Forty-fifth Amendment) Act, 1980. (2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 25th day of January, 1980. 2. Amendment of article 334.-In article 334 of the Constitution for the words "thirty years"; the words "forty years" shall be substituted. |
