TS CIVIL RULES OF PRACTICE AND CIRCULAR ORDERS, 1980 – AMENDMENT (G.P.Ms.No. 50, Law (LA, LA&J-Home-Courts-(B2), 16th June, 2016] NOTIFICATION In exercise of the powers conferred by Article 227 of the Constitution of India r/w section 127 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 (Central Act No.5 of 1908) and with the previous approval of the Government of Telangana as required under section 126 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908, the High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad hereby makes the following amendments to the Civil Rules of Practice and Circular Orders, 1980 as amended from time to time. AMENDMENTS In the Civil Rules of Practice and Circular Orders, 1980, in Part-II (Civil Procedure Mediation Rules, 2005) in rule 316 (Qualifications of persons to be Empanelled under rule 315),- (1) for clause (b), the following clause shall be substituted namely:- “Legal Practitioner with at least seven years standing at the Bar at the level of the Supreme Court or the High Court; or the District Courts or Courts of equivalent status.” (2) after clause (d), the following clause shall be added namely:- “(e), The Mediator who have undergone training programme conducted in accordance with the curriculum approved by Mediation and Conciliation Project Committee of India (MCPC) shall alone be accredited as Mediator”.
