BOMBAY TENANCY AND AGRICULTURAL LANDS (VIDARBHA REGION AND KUTCH AREA) ACT, 1958
GUJARAT ACT NO. 17 OF 1973.
(First published, after having received the assent of the President in the Gujarat Government Gazette on the 6th August, 1973).
An Act further to amend the Bombay Tenancy and Agricultural Lands (Vidarbha Region and Kutch Area) Act, 1958.
It is hereby enacted in the Twenty-third Year of the Republic of India as follows:—
Short title.
1. This Act may be called the Bombay Tenancy and Agricultural Lands (Vidarbha Region and Kutch Area) (Gujarat Amendment) Act, 1972.
Amendment of section 89 of Bom. XCIX of 1958.
2. In section 89 of the Bombay Tenancy and Agricultural Lands (Vidarbha Region and Kutch Area) Act, 1958, in sub-section (1), after the existing proviso, the following further proviso shall be added, namely:—
“Provided further that no such permission shall be granted, where land is being sold to a person who is not an agriculturist for agricultural purpose, if the annual income of such person from other sources exceeds five thousand rupees”. |
