BOMBAY LABOUR WELFARE FUND (GUJARAT AMENDMENT) ACT, 1962
GUJARAT ACT NO. VIII OF 1963.

An Act to amend the Bombay Labour Welfare Funds Act, 1953.
It is hereby enacted in the Thirteenth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-
Short title.
1. This Act may be called the Bombay Labour Welfare Fund (Gujarat Amendment) Act, 1962.
Amendment of section 6A of Bom. XI of 1953.
2. In section 6A of the Bombay Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1953, after sub-section (12), the following sub-section shall be inserted and shall be deemed always to have been inserted, namely:—
“(13) Nothing in the foregoing provisions of this section shall apply to unpaid accumulations not already paid to the Board,
(а) in respect of which no separate accounts have been maintained so that the unpaid claims of employees are not traceable, or
(b) which are proved to have been spent before the sixth day of December 1961 and accordingly such unpaid accumulations shall not be liable to be collected and paid under sub-section (4) of section 3.” |
