BOMBAY JUDICIAL PROCEEDINGS (REGULATION OF REPORTS) (GUJARAT EXTENSION AND AMENDMENT) ACT, 1961
GUJARAT ACT NO. XII OF 1962
(First published, after having received the assent of the Prescribed in the “Gujarat Government Gazette" on the 3rd March 1962.)
An Act to amend tin; Bombay Judicial Proceedings (Regulation of Reports) Act, 1955 for the purpose of extending it to, and bringing it into force in the rest of the State, of Gujarat.
It is hereby enacted in the Twelfth Year of the Republic of India as follows:—
Short title and commencement.
1. (1) This Act may be called the Bombay Judicial Proceedings (Regulation of Reports) (Gujarat Extension and Amendment) Act, 1961.
(2) It shall come into force of such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
Amendment of section 1 of Bom. XVIII of 1955.
2. In .section 1 of the Bombay Judicial Proceedings (Regulation Reports) Act, 1955.-
(i) for sub-section (2), the following shall be substituted, namely:-
“(2) It extends to the whole of the State of Gujarat.".
(ii) to sub-section (3), the following proviso shall be inserted; namely:—
‘'Provided that in the areas to which this Act is extended by the Bombay Judicial Proceedings; (Regulation of Reports) (Gujarat Extension and Amendment) Act, 1901, this Act shall come into force on the date on the commencement of that Act.” |
