BOMBAY LAND REQUISITION (GUJARAT EXTENSION OF DURATION) ACT, 1976
GUJARAT ACT NO. 12 OF 1976.
(First published, after having received the assent of the President in the “Gujarat Government Gazette” on the 19th March, 1976).
An Act further to extend the duration of the Bombay Land Requisition Act, 1948, as in force in the State of Gujarat.
It is hereby enacted in the Twenty-seventh Year of the Republic of India as follows:-
Short title.
1. This Act may be called the Bombay Land Requisition (Gujarat Extension of Duration) Act, 1976.
Amendment of Section 3 of Bom. XXXIII of 1948.
2. In section 3 of the Bombay Land Requisition Act, 1948, as in force m the State of Gujarat, in sub-section (1), for the figures, letters and words “31st day of December 1975” the figures, letters and word “31st December, 1977” shall be substituted.
Repeal of Guj. Ord. No. 11 of 1975.
3. The Bombay Land Requisition (Gujarat Extension of Duration) Ordinance, 1975 is hereby repealed and the provisions of section 7 of the Bombay General Clauses Act, 1904 shall apply to such repeal as if that Ordinance were an enactment. |
