THE ARUNACHAL PRADESH PREVENTION OF CORRUPTION (AMENDMENT) ACT 1989
(ACT NO. 5 OF 1990)
further to amend the prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 (Central Act No. 49 of 1989), in its application to the State of Arunachal Pradesh.
Be it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of Arunachal Pradesh in the Fortieth Year of the Republic of India as follows:—
Short title, extent and commencement.
1. (1) This act may be called the Arunachal Pradesh Prevention of Corruption (Amendment) Act, 1989.
(2) It extends to the whole of the State of Arunachal Pradesh.
(3) It shall come into force at once.
Amendment of section 3.
In sub-section (2) of section 3 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 (Central Act No. 49 of 1988) in its application to the State of Arunachal Pradesh, after the words “Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973" the words “or a Deputy Commissions preferably with legal background and sufficient judicial experience” shall be inserted. |
