THE MADHYA PRADESH MANTRI (VETAN TATHA BHATTA) SANSHODHAN ADHINIYAM, 2010

An Act Further to amend the Madhya Pradesh Mantri (Vetan Tatha Bhatta) Adhiniyam, 1972.

Be it enacted by the Madhya Pradesh Legislature in the Sixty first Year of the Republic of India as follows:-

Short title and commencement.

1.(1) This Act may be called the Madhya Pradesh Mantri (Vetan Tatha Bhatta) Sanshodhan Adhiniyam, 2010.

(2) It shall be deemed to have come into force from the 26th day of March, 2010.

Substitution of Section 3.

2. For Section 3 of the Madhya Pradesh Mantri (Vetan Tatha Bhatta) Adhiniyam, 1972 (No. 25 of 1972) (hereinafter referred to as the Principal Act), the following section shall be substituted, namely:-

Salaries of Ministers, Ministers of State Deputy Ministers and Parliamentary Secretaries.

“3. There shall be paid a salary per mensem of rupees thirty thousand to the Chief Minister, rupees twenty seven thousand to each Minister, rupees twenty five thousand to Minister of State, rupees twenty thousand to Deputy Minister and Parliamentary Secretary.”.

Substitution of Section 4,

3. For Section 4 of the Principal Act, the following section shall be substituted, namely:-

Sumptuary allowance, constituency allowance and daily allowance.

“4. (1) There shall be paid to the Chief Minister, each Minister, Minister of State, Deputy Minister and Parliamentary Secretary a sumptuary allowance of eighteen thousand rupees per mensem.

(2) There shall be paid to the Chief Minister, each Minister, Minister of State, Deputy Minister and Parliamentary Secretary a constituency of allowance of seventeen thousand rupees per mensem.

(3) There shall be paid to the Chief Minister, each Minister, Minister of State, Deputy Minister and Parliamentary Secretary a daily allowance of seven hundred and fifty rupees within the State and nine hundred rupees out side the State per day during the term of office.”.
