An Act Further to amend the Madhya Pradesh Adhyaksha Tatha Upadhyaksha (Vetan Tatha Bhatta) Adhiniyam, 1972 and the Madhya Pradesh Vidhan Mandal Neta Pratipaksha (Vetan Tatha Bhatta) Adhiniyam, 1980.
Be it enacted by the Madhya Pradesh Legislature in the Sixty-first Year of the Republic of India as follows:-
Short title.
1. This Act may called the Madhya Pradesh Adhyaksha Tatha Upadhayaksh Evam Neta Pratipaksha Vetan Tatha Bhatta Vidhi (Sanshodhan) Adhiniyam, 2010.
PART I
Amendment to the Madhya Pradesh Adhyaksha Tatha Upadhayaksha (Vetan Tatha Bhatta) Adhiniyam, 1972 (No. 27 of 1972).
Amendment of Section 2.
2. In Section 2 of the Madhya Pradesh Adhyaksha Tatha Upadhyaksha (Vetan Tatha Bhatta) Adhiniyam, 1972 (No. 27 of 1972) (hereinafter referred to as the Principal Act), for the words “nine thousand”, the words “ten thousand” shall be substituted.
Amendment of Section 3.
3. In Section 3 of the Principal Act,-
(i) in sub-section (1), for the words “nine thousand” and “six thousand”, the words “thirteen thousand” and “ten thousand” shall respectively be substituted;
(ii) in sub-section (2), for the words “twelve thousand”, the words “eighteen thousand” shall be substituted;
(iii) in sub-section (3), for the words “five hundred”, the words “eight hundred” shall be substituted;

Amendment to the Madhya Pradesh Vidhan Mandal Neta Pratipaksha (Vetan Tatha Bhatta) Adhiniyam, 1980 (No. 8 of 1980).
Amendment of Section 3.
4. In Section 3 of the Madhya Pradesh Vidhan Mandal Neta Pratipaksha (Vetan Tatha Bhatta) Adhiniyam, 1980 (No. 8 of 1980) (hereinafter referred to as the Principal Act), for the words “nine thousand” the words “ten thousand” shall be substituted.
Amendment of Section 4.
5. In Section 4 of the Principal Act,-
(i) in sub-section (1), for the words “nine thousand” the words “thirteen thousand” shall be substituted;
(ii) in sub-section (2), for the words “twelve thousand”, the words “eighteen thousand” shall be substituted;
(iii) in sub-section (3), for the words “five hundred”, the words “eight hundred” shall be substituted. |
