THE INDIAN TOLLS (CHHATTISGARH AMENDMENT) ADHINIYAM, 2001

An act to further amend the Indian tolls Act, 1935 (No. 8 of 1932) in its application to the State of Chhattisgarh to the levy of tolls by Government on public roads and bridges in the State of Chhattisgarh.
Be it enacted by the Chhattisgarh Legislature in the Fifty-second Year of the Republic of India as follows:-
Short title and Commencement.
1. (1) This act may be called the Indian Tolls (Chhattisgarh Amendment) Act, 2001 (No. 25 of 2002).
(2) This shall be applicable in the entire State of Chhattisgarh.
(3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification appoint.
Amendment of Section 2 of the Act No. 8 of 1932.
2. In Section 2 of the Indian Tolls (Chhattisgarh Amendment) Act, 1932 (No. 8 of 1932) words “for such longer period not exceeding fifteen years” the words “for such longer period not exceeding thirty years” shall be substituted. |
