An Ordinance further to amend the Madhya Pradesh Atyavashyak Seva Sandbaran Tatha Vichchinnata Nivaran Adhiniyam, 1979.
Whereas, State Legislature is not in session and the Governor of Madhya Pradesh is satisfied that the circumstances exist which render it necessary for him to take immediate action;
Now, Therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 213 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Madhya Pradesh is pleased to promulgate the following Ordinance:—
Short title
1. This Ordinance may be called the Madhya Pradesh Atyavashyak Seva Sandharan Tatha Vichchinnata Nivaran (Sanshodhan) Adhyadesh, 2013.
Amendment of Section 2
2. In Section 2 of the Madhya Pradesh Atyavashyak Seva Sandharan Tatha Vichchinnata Nivaran Adhiniyam, 1979 (No. 10 of 1979), in the explanation,—
(i) in clause (iii), the word “and” shall be omitted;
(ii) in clause (iv), for the full stop, a semi-colon shall be substituted and thereafter the word “and” shall be inserted;
(iii) after clause (iv), the following clause shall be inserted, namely:—
“(v) persons getting monetary benefits in whatever name from the State Government or its agency and who are required to discharge duties for the benefit of public in relation to public health.”. |
