An Act further to amend the Madhya Pradesh Nagariya Kshetron Ke Bhoomihin Vyakti (Pattadhriti Adhikaron Ka Pradan Kiya Jana) Adhiniyam, 1984.
Be it enacted by the Madhya Pradesh Legislature in the sixty-fourth year of the Republic of India as follows:—
Short title
1. This Act may be called the Madhya Pradesh Nagariya Kshetron Ke Bhoomihin Vyakti (Pattadhriti Adhikaron a Pradan Kiya Jana) Sanshodhan Adhiniyam, 2013.
Amendment of Section 3
2. In Section 3 of the Madhya Pradesh Nagariya Kshetron Ke Bhoomihin Vyakti (Pattadhriti Adhikaron Ka Pradan Kiya Jana) Adhiniyam, 1984 (No. 15 of 1984) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act),—
(i) in sub-section (1), for the figures and words “31st day of December, 2007”, the figures and words “31st day of December, 2012” shall be substituted;
(ii) in sub-section (2), for the figures and words “31st December. 2007” wherever they occur, the figures and words “31st December, 2012” shall be substituted.
Amendment of Section 4
3. In Section 4 of the principal Act, in sub-section (2), for the figures and words “31st December, 2007”, the figures and words “31st December, 2012” shall be substituted.
Amendment of Section 5
4. In Section 5 of the principal Act,—
(i) in sub-section (1), for the words “and with fine which shall not be less than five hundred rupees but which may extend to one thousand rupees”, the words “and with fine which shall not be less than two thousand rupees but which may extend to ten thousand rupees” shall be substituted;
(ii) in sub-section (2), for the words “may extend to three months or with fine which may extend to one thousand rupees or with both”, the words “shall not be less than three months but which may extend to three years and with fine which shall not be less than two thousand rupees but which may extend to ten thousand rupees” shall be substituted;
(iii) in sub-section (3), for the words “may extend to one year or with fine which may extend to five thousand rupees or with both”, the words “shall not be less than three months but which may extend to three years and with fine which shall not be less than two thousand rupees but which may extend to ten thousand rupees” shall be substituted. |
