An Act further to amend the Delhi University Act, 1922. BE it enacted by Parliament in the Fifty-third Year of the Republic of India as follows:— Short title. 1. This Act may be called the Delhi University (Amendment) Act, 2002. Amendment of section 5 of Act 8 of 1922. 2. In section 5 of the Delhi University Act, 1922, in sub-section (2), after the proviso, the following proviso shall be inserted, namely:— "Provided further that provisions of this sub-section shall not apply in the case of any educational institution affiliated to the Indraprastha Vishwavidyalaya incorporated under the Indraprastha Vishwavidyalaya Act, 1998.". |
