An Act further to amend the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences Act, 1956.
BE it enacted by Parliament in the Fifty-first Year of the Republic of India as follows:—
Short title.
1. This Act may be called the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (Amendment) Short title. Act, 2000.
Amendment of Section 6.
2. In the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences Act, 1956, in section 6, in the proviso to sub-section (/), after the words "as soon as he", the words "becomes a Minister section or Minister of State or Deputy Minister, or the Speaker or the Deputy Speaker of the House of the People, or the Deputy Chairman of the Council of States or" shall be inserted. |
