GUJARAT ACT NO. 25 OF 1973
(First published, after having received the assent of the President in the Gujarat Government Gazette on the 8th November, 1973).
An Act to amend the Gujarat Secondary Education Act, 1972 for the
purposes hereinafter appearing.
It is hereby enacted in the Twenty-fourth Year of the Republic of India as follows:—
Short title
1. This Act may be called the Gujarat Secondary Education (Amendment) Act, 1973.
Insertion of new section 40A is Guj. 18 of 1973
2. In the Gujarat Secondary Education Act, 1972, after section 40, the following section shall be inserted, namely:—
Savings
“40A. Nothing contained in clause (26) of section 17, sections 34 and 35, and clause (b) of sub-section (1) and subsections (2), (3), (4) and (5) of section 36 shall apply to any educational institution established and administered by a minority, whether based on religion or language.”.
Repeal of Guj. Ord. 6 of 1973
3. The Gujarat Secondary Education (Amendment) Ordinance, 1973 is here by repealed and the provisions of section 7 of the Bombay General Clauses Act, 1904 shall apply to such repeal as if that Ordinance were an enactment. |
