THE TAMIL NADU LABOUR WELFARE FUND (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1994

An Act further to amend the Tamil Nadu Labour Welfare Act, 1972.
Be it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Tamil Nadu in the Forty-fourth Year of the Republic of India as follows:—
1. Short title and Commencement.
(1) This Act may be called the Tamil Nadu Labour Welfare Fund (Amendment) Act 1994.
(2) Section 2 shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1st April 1975.
2. Amendment of section 40.
In section 40 of the Tamil Nadu Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1972 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), after the words "all or any of the provisions! of this Act the words" or of any rules made thereunder" shall be inserted.
3. Amendment of section 42.
In sub-section (1) of section 42 of the principal Act, after the words Amendment of "by notification", the words "issued whether prospectively or retrospectively" shall be inserted. |
