THE MANIPUR HILL AREAS (HOUSE TAX) SECOND AMENDMENT ACT, 2003

PREAMBLE
An Act further to amend the Manipur Hill Areas (House Tax) Act, 1966 (Manipur Act No. 9 of 1966).
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Manipur in the Fifty-fourth year of the Republic of India as follows:
Section 1 - Short title and commencement
(1) This Act may be called the Manipur Hill Areas (House Tax) Second Amendment Act, 2003.
(2) It shall be deemed to have come into force from the 1st day of January 2003.
Section 2 - Amendment of section 3
In sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Manipur Hill Areas (House Tax) Act, 1966, for the words "six rupees", the words "fifteen rupees" shall be substituted. |
