PREAMBLE
An Act further to amend the Chhattisgarh Kushabhau Thakre Patrakarita Avam Jansanchar University Act, 2004.
Be it enacted by the Chhattisgarh Legislature in the Fifty-seventh Year of the Republic of India as follows: --
Section 1 - Short title, extent and commencement
(1) This Act may be called the Chhattisgarh Kushabhau Thakre Patrakarita Avam Janshanchar University (Amendment) Act, 2006.
(2) It extends to the whole State of Chhattisgarh.
(3) It shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
Section 2 - Definition
In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires: --
"Principal Act" means The Chhattisgarh Kushabhau Thakre Patrakarita Avam Jansanchar University Act, 2004 (No. 24 of 2004).
Section 3 - Amendment of Section 11
In sub-section (8) of Section 11 of the Principal Act, for the word "two" the word "Five" shall be substituted. |
