THE ORISSA LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY SPEAKER'S SALARY AND ALLOWANCES (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1995

[Received the assent of the Governor on the 27th August 1995 first published in an extraordinary issue of the Orissa Gazette, dated the 28th August 1995.]
An act further to amend the Orissa Legislative Assembly Speaker's Salary and Allowances Act, 1960.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of-Orissa in the Forty-sixth Year of the Republic of India as follows:—
1. Short title and commencement.
(1) This Act may be called the Orissa Legislative Assembly Speaker's Salary and Allowances (Amendment) Act; 1995.
(2) It shall come into force on the 1st day of August, 1995.
2. Amendment of section 3.
In the Orissa Legislative Assembly Speaker's Salary and Allowances Act, 1960, in section 3, for the words "two thousand rupees", the words "four thousand and three hundred rupees" shall be substituted, and after suction 3, the following new section shall be inserted, namely:—
"3-A: Sitting Allowance.
There shall be paid to the Speaker a daily sitting allowance for attending Assembly Session or Committee thereof, of one hundred and fifty rupees.”. |
