THE ORISSA LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY DEPUTY SPEAKER'S SALARY AND ALLOWANCES (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1995

An act further to amend the Orissa Legislative Assembly Deputy Speaker's Salary and Allowances Act, 1959.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Orissa in the Forty-sixth Year of the Republic of India as follows:—
1. Short title and commencement.
(1) This Act may be called the Orissa Legislative Assembly Deputy speaker's Salary and Allowances (Amendment) Act, 1995.
(2) It shall come into force on the 1st day of August, 1995. .
2. Amendment of section 3.
In the Orissa Legislative Assembly Deputy Speaker's Salary and Allowances Act, 1959, In section 3, for the words "two .thousand rupees", the words "three thousand and five bundled rupees" shall be substituted and after section 3, the following new section shall be inserted, namely;—
"3-A. Sitting Allowance.
There shall be paid to the Deputy Speaker-a daily sitting allowance for attending Assembly Session or Committee thereof, of one hundred and fifty Allowance rupees. |
