further to amend the Haryana Municipal Act, 1973.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Haryana in the Fifty- sixth Year of the Republic of India as follows :—
1. This Act may be called the Haryana Municipal (Amendment) Slioniiilc. Act, 2005.
2. In sub-section (3) of section 9 of the Haryana Municipal Act, 1973 Amendmcnior (hereinafter called the principal Aci),— section 9 of

(a) the following clause shall be added, namely :— of 1973.
"(i) not more than three persons in case of Municipal Council and not more, than I wo persons in ease of Mmicipal Committee having special knowledge or experience in municipal administration;";
(b) for the first proviso, the following proviso shall be substituted,
namely :—
"Provided thai the persons referred to in clause (i) above shall not have right to vote in the meetings of the municipalities and the persons referred to in clauses (ii) and (iii) shall nut have any riyht to conicst lor the election of president
