THE MIZORAM SALARIES AND ALLOWANCES OF THE MINISTER (SECOND AMENDMENT) ACT, 2005 Bill No. 2 of 2005 Act No. 4 of 2005 Passed on 23.03.2005 An Act to amend the Mizoram Salaries and Allowances of the Minister Act, 1999 ( Act no. 7 of 1999 ) (hereinafter referred the Principal Act). Be it enacted by the Mizoram Legislative Assembly in the Fifty-fifth year of the Republic of India as follows:- 1. Short title and commencement (1) This Act may be called the Mizoram Salaries and Allowances of Minister (Second Amendment) Act, 2005. (2) It shall come into force from the date of publication in the Mizoram Gazette. 2. Insertion of a new proviso A new proviso shall be inserted after Section 6 of the Principal Act namely: "Provided that a Minister who is not provided with any Government Quarter/Bungalow shall be entitled to receive such sum of rupees as may be fixed by the Government from time to time for furnishing his residences”. |
