THE ORISSA VILLAGE ADMINISTRATION LAWS REPEALING ACT, 1975

PREAMBLE
An Act to repeal the Madras Village Courts Act, 1889, the Central Provinces Village Sanitation and Public Management Act, 1920 the Bihar and Orissa Village Administration Act, 1922, the Bengal Sanitary Drainage Act, 1895, and the Cattle Trespass (Central Provinces Amendment) Act, 1935 in their application to the State of Orissa
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Orissa in the Twenty- sixth Year of the Republic of India, as follows:
Section 1 - Short title
This Act may be called the Orissa Village Administration Laws Repealing Act, 1975.
Section 2 - Enactments
The Acts specified below are hereby repealed, namely:
(1) The Madras Village Courts Act, 1889 (Madras Act 17 of 1889).
(2) The Central Provinces Village Sanitation and Public Management Act, 1920 (C.P. Act 2 of 1920).
(3) The Bihar and Orissa Village Administration Act, 1922 (B.& O. Act 3 of 1922).
(4) The Bengal Sanitary Drainage Act, 1895 (Bengal Act 8 of 1895).
(5) The Cattle Trespass (Central Provinces Amendment) Act, 1935 (C.P.Act12of 1935). |
