PREAMBLE
An Act to amend the Prisons Act, 1894 in its application to the State of Orissa
Whereas it is expedient to amend the Prisons Act, 1894 (IX of 1894) in its application to the State of Orissa in the manner hereinafter appearing;
It is hereby enacted by the Legislature of the State of Orissa in the Seventh Year of the Republic of India as follows:
Section 1 - Short title
This Act may be called the Prisons (Orissa Amendment) Act, 1956.
Section 2 - Amendment of Section 46
In Section 46 of the Prisons Act, 1894 (IX of 1894) after Clause (4) the following new clause shall be inserted, namely. |
