An Act further to amend the Constitution (Scheduled Tribes) Order, 1950 to modify the list of Scheduled Tribes in the State of Karnataka.

Be it enacted by Parliament in the Sixty-third Year of the Republic of India as follows—

1. Short title.—

This Act may be called the Constitution (Scheduled Tribes) Order (Amendment) Act, 2012.

2. Amendment of Part VI of Constitution (Scheduled Tribes) Order, 1950.—

In the Schedule to the Constitution (Scheduled Tribes) Order, 1950 (CO.22), in Part VI.—

Karnataka, in Entry 37, after “Meda”, insert “Medara”.
