An Act further to amend the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies (Appointment of Special Officers) Act, 1976.
Be it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Tamil Nadu in the Fifty-ninth Year of the Republic of India as follows:—
1.Short title and commencement.—(1) This Act may be called the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies (Appointment of Special Officers) Amendment Act, 2008.
(2) It shall come into force at once.
2.Amendment of Section 4.— In Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies (Appointment of Special Officers) Act, 1976 (President’s Act 25 of 1976), in sub-section (1), for the expression ‘thirty one years and eight months’, the expression ‘thirty two years and two months’ shall be substituted. |
