An Act further to amend the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act, 1983.
Be it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Tamil Nadu in the Sixty-first Year of the Republic of India as follows:—
1. Short title and commencement.— (1) This Act may be called the
Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies (Fourth Amendment) Act, 2010.
(2) It shall Come into force at once.
2. Amendment of Section 89.— In Section 89 of the Tamil Nadu Co-
operative Societies Act, 1983, in the Proviso to sub-section (1), for the
expression "nine years and six months", the expression "ten years " shall be
substituted.
