An Act to repeal the Land Acquisition (West Bengal Amendment) Act, 1975. WHEREAS it is considered proper to re-introduce in West Bengal the solatium provided for in sub-section (2) of section 21 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894; It is hereby enacted as follows:

 

Section 1 Short title

 

This Act may be called the Land Acquisition (West Bengal Amendment) Repealing Act, 1978.

 

Section 2 Repeal of West Ben. Act 9 of 1975

 

The Land Acquisition (West Bengal Amendment) Act, 1975, is hereby repealed.
